Teams must have at least 12 players on the roster, but not more than 15 players. Teams that have more than 15 players on the roster, must release the amount of players to reach the 15 players limit. The released players will count towards the salary cap. Teams can hold on to the draft rights for 3 years, after that the player will become free agent.
During the offseason, teams can go over the limit by 2 players, but have to have max 15 players and minimum 12 players by the start of the regular season.
