It's just NBA Live's MVP logic, but the real MVP for this league won't be decided there. This isn't very accurate list, but it's the best we have right now.

Man, this is what makes me dislike NBA Live's sim engine. Boozer, IRL, is having arguably his best season. his #'s are as follows
20.7p | 11.1r | 3.5a | .5blk | 1.1stl
His high stl avg in his entire career is 1.2. His high blk avg in his entire career is .7 His high ppg avg is 21.1 His high rpg avg is 11.7 And this year is his high apg avg.
So, NBA Live right now has him avg 4 points too many, career high assists, more than half a block more than his career average, and more than half a steal more than his career average, all at the same time?!?!
Meanwhile, guys like Chris Paul, who are statistical beasts IRL, get the shaft. It's just too PF heavy.
Also, we need to lower Boozer's block rating and somehow adjust his steals also. half a steal/block may not seem like much to some of you, but when we're talking about a usually low-number stat like these, where the league leader usually gets 2-3 tops a game, half a steal or block is HUGE. That's like equivalent of someone's points per game being off by 5-10 a game. Quite a lot.

This has been emphasized many many times by NBA analysts and commentators alike. I think the scoring and rebs are fine. But as for the steals and blocks, those may need some refinements

Yeah, Live's logic sucks in that area, but for the record, season awards won't be decided by the game, it'll be decided by whether by Committee Members or by all the GMs(this will be decided later). Also we would put more emphasize on the team success and also we would make sure that the top wouldn't be so power forward heavy.

I understand that Minny, but it doesn't change the fact that these guys are putting up stats in a way they shouldn't, AND that other guys, mainly guards, especially PG's, are NOT putting up the stats they should. Usually the league leader in assists in NBA Live gets about 8 or 9...while IRL we have guys at 10+ or close to 11 sometimes.

I need some love for Deron Williams. My team is a top 3-4 team in the league. When Deron was healthy my team was clipping along. He went down with an injury and you could tell that the team was not the same without him. If he wouldnt have gone down my team would for sure be pushing San Antonio a lot harder for the leagues best record.

IMO: This is what I think the MVP Race should look like
1)[glow=red,2,300]San Antonio's: Tim Duncan 23.2p 11.9r 3.6a[/glow]
2)[glow=red,2,300] Utah's: Deron Williams 19.1p 3.7r 7a[/glow]
3)[glow=red,2,300]New Orleans': David West 19.3p 9.8r 2.6a[/glow]
4)[glow=red,2,300]Cleveland's: LeBron James 20.5p 6.7r 5.5a[/glow]
5)[glow=red,2,300]Boston's: Paul Pierce 21.3p 6r 3.9a[/glow]
Honorable Mention [glow=red,2,300]Detroit's: Kevin Garnett 22.5p 11.4r 5.3a[/glow]
I didnt have bias for Williams being #2. He is the best guy on the team with the second best record in the league.
